Amy went through another age change just to avoid comments like "sonic can't date amy because he's a 15 year old teen and she's a 12 year old preteen"? Amy has the aura of a magical girl, with her tarot cards and sensing sonic and whatnot. 12 is a culturally good age for her, as she's got a "fangirly" attitude towards sonic.

According to every time sega have listed the characters' ages since sonic heroes, sonic is 15, tails is 8, amy is 12, knuckles is 16, and so on.. The reason why i ask this is because prior to sonic forces, boom amy acted more mature than the main series amy (main series amy has gotten more mature). So, is boom amy 12 years old or older?
